Ulsan: A large structure at a power plant in the southeastern city of Ulsan collapsed on Thursday, leaving six people presumed trapped, as reported by local authorities. The incident occurred at the Ulsan branch of Korea East-West Power Co., a state-operated utility company, shortly after 2 p.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, initial reports from firefighting officials indicated that eight people were trapped following the collapse. However, rescue teams managed to save two individuals, while efforts continue to locate and rescue the remaining six people.
Emergency personnel are actively searching the site to ensure the safety and recovery of those still unaccounted for.
