KRX to Host International Corporate Governance Conference in Seoul

Seoul: The Korea Exchange (KRX), South Korea's main bourse operator, announced its plans to host an international conference on corporate governance in collaboration with a global non-profit organization in Seoul this month.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the ICGN Korea Conference 2026 is scheduled for April 14 and will focus on the rapidly evolving corporate governance and stewardship landscape in South Korea and abroad. The event is being jointly organized by the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), a global non-profit governance organization established in 1995.

ICGN was founded to promote high corporate governance standards and investor stewardship, boasting members in over 40 countries, including large public pension funds and asset managers. Among the notable participants are Jen Sisson, CEO of ICGN, and Kathlyn Collins, vice president of Matthews Asia, a San Francisco-based investment fund managing US$6.9 billion.
