Seoul: Fans of the hit animated musical "KPop Demon Hunters", Netflix's most-watched movie ever, enjoyed a spectacular drone show over Seoul on Sunday, where 1,200 drones illuminated the night sky with images of beloved characters and iconic South Korean landmarks. From the very first notes, the crowd went wild as they took in the free show.
According to France24.com, in the skies above Seoul, 1,200 drones recreated now-iconic scenes from Netflix's hit animated film "K-Pop Demon Hunters", which tells the story of three K-pop stars who secretly hunt demons.
References to Korean culture abound throughout the film, with a traditional hat, the gat, worn by characters and Korean food referenced throughout.
The National Museum of Korea is also reporting record numbers since the film's release in June.
"K-Pop Demon Hunters" joins a parade of global hits like "Parasite" and "Squid Game", further reinforcing the ongoing Korean cultural wave around the world.
