The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose eight-point-22 points, or zero-point-35 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-359-point-53.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 13-point-72 points, or one-point-97 percent, to close the day at 709-point-77.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-246-point-two won.
