The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose one-point-12 points, or zero-point-05 percent, on Tuesday, closing the day at two-thousand-351-point-31.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ fell however, losing five-point-16 points, or zero-point-74 percent, to close the day at 696-point-05.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-244-point-seven won.
