The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 14-point-25 points, or zero-point-55 percent, on Tuesday, closing the day at two-thousand-596-point-56.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing four-point-7 points, or zero-point-55 percent, to close at 856-point-14.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-four won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-276-point-four won.
