The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell six-point-99 points, or zero-point-31 percent, on Tuesday, closing the day at two-thousand-218-point-68.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose three-point-44 points, or zero-point-51 percent, to close the day at 674-point-95.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened one-point-six won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-271 won.
