The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose five-point-57 points, or zero-point-24 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at two-thousand-365-point-10.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining one-point-05 points, or zero-point-15 percent, to close the day at 710-point-82.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-four won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-245-point-eight won.
