Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw significant changes with several companies experiencing fluctuations in their stock prices. Notable movements included gains for Doosan Robotics and Kia Corp., while SKSQUARE and Hanwha Aerospace faced downturns in their stock values.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Doosan Robotics showed an upward trend, closing at 86,800, marking an increase of 5,600. Kia Corp. also experienced a positive shift, with its stock price rising by 6,800 to close at 129,300. On the other hand, SKSQUARE's stock decreased by 2,500, ending at 429,500, and Hanwha Aerospace saw a significant decline of 12,000, closing at 1,010,000.
Other notable changes included Samsung Electronics, which rose by 2,100 to close at 141,000, while Samsung C and T increased by 5,000, ending at 265,000. Mobis experienced a substantial rise, closing at 392,500, up by 26,500.
POSCO Holdings and Asia Holdings also reported gains, with POSCO Holdings closing at 308,000, an increase of 4,000, and Asia Holdings at 313,500, up by 4,000. Meanwhile, SLCORP saw its stock price increase by 2,450, closing at 44,500.
Conversely, several companies faced declines, such as Ecopro Mat and ISU Specialty Chemical, which closed at 53,200 and 58,000, down by 1,300 and 2,700 respectively. SK Innovation's stock dropped by 4,000 to close at 102,000, and Poongsan experienced a decline of 5,400, ending at 113,100.
Additionally, KB Financial Group and DB Insurance both saw decreases in their stock prices, closing at 124,700, down by 1,700 and 2,500 respectively. Kumho Petrochemical and Lotte also faced downturns, closing at 118,600 and 25,650, down by 900 and 750 respectively.
