KOSPI 200 Stocks Show Mixed Results with Significant Gains and Losses

Seoul: Thursday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange saw a varied performance among KOSPI 200 stocks, with notable gains and losses in several sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Kumho Petrochem closed at 113,000 KRW, marking an increase of 3,000 KRW. HYUNDAIGLOVIS saw an uptick, closing at 191,700 KRW, up by 3,400 KRW. OCI Holdings experienced a significant rise with its shares closing at 175,400 KRW, up by 5,300 KRW. Korea Aerospace and Samsung SDS also reported gains, closing at 120,700 KRW and 198,700 KRW, up by 3,200 KRW and 1,400 KRW, respectively.

In contrast, d'Alba Global faced a sharp decline, closing at 233,500 KRW, down by 31,500 KRW. HYBE also saw a decrease, with its stock closing at 163,000 KRW, down by 7,300 KRW. Shinsegae experienced a notable drop, closing at 396,000 KRW, down by 48,500 KRW.

On the other hand, LG Energy Solution made significant gains with its shares closing at 320,000 KRW, up by 19,500 KRW. POSCO FUTURE M and HYOSUNG TNC also showed strong performances, closing at 130,200 KRW and 298,500 KRW, up by 8,100 KRW and 12,000 KRW, respectively. In addition, LIG Defense and Aerospace reported a substantial rise, closing at 641,000 KRW, up by 21,000 KRW.

Overall, the trading session highlighted a day of mixed outcomes, reflecting the dynamic nature of the market and the varying performances of individual stocks within the KOSPI 200 index.
