KOSPI 200 Stocks See Significant Decline in Monday’s Trading

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced notable declines in Monday's trading session, with most stocks closing lower on the Korea Stock Exchange. Key stocks showed significant reductions in their closing prices, contributing to a downward trend across the board.

According to Yonhap News Agency, KCC closed at 488,000 KRW, marking a decrease of 54,000 KRW. SKBP saw a reduction of 5,700 KRW, closing at 82,400 KRW. Doosan Robotics also faced a significant drop, closing at 127,200 KRW, down by 13,100 KRW. LS finished at 371,000 KRW, decreasing by 39,500 KRW, and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries closed at 621,000 KRW, down 43,000 KRW.

Other notable declines included Hanwha Aerospace, which ended the day at 1,006,000 KRW, a decrease of 43,000 KRW. Samsung Epis Holdings closed at 405,500 KRW, down 38,500 KRW. DWS and S-1 also saw reductions, closing at 19,140 KRW and 70,200 KRW, respectively. SK Square faced a substantial drop, closing at 1,118,000 KRW, down 140,000 KRW.

OCI Holdings and Mobis also reported losses, closing at 263,000 KRW and 612,000 KRW, respectively. Sanil Electric and Hyundai Engineering and Construction closed lower as well. Samsung Electronics ended at 295,500 KRW, a decline of 33,500 KRW.

Despite the overall downward trend, Hyundai Department Store managed a slight increase, closing at 148,600 KRW, up 2,100 KRW. Asia Holdings also saw a minor rise, ending at 173,800 KRW, up 1,500 KRW.

The session reflected broader market pressures impacting the KOSPI 200 stocks, contributing to a challenging trading day for investors.
