Seoul: As the trading week concluded, KOSPI 200 stocks on the main Korea Stock Exchange exhibited varied performances, with both gains and declines observed across different sectors.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies marked notable changes in their stock prices by the end of the trading session. GCH Corp saw a decrease of 30 KRW, closing at 16,350 KRW. Similarly, COSMOCHEM's stock fell by 230 KRW to end at 16,370 KRW. On the other hand, LOTTE experienced a slight increase, closing at 28,100 KRW with a rise of 50 KRW.
LotteChilsung recorded a significant drop, decreasing by 4,100 KRW to reach 133,100 KRW. Conversely, POSCO Holdings showed a substantial gain, with its stock price rising by 4,500 KRW to close at 311,000 KRW. SamsungF and MIns also saw a notable increase, ending the day at 522,000 KRW, up by 25,000 KRW.
The trading day was marked by significant movements in other stocks as well. HYOSUNG HEAVY enjoyed an impressive increase of 164,000 KRW, closing at 2,012,000 KRW. LG Energy Solution's stock climbed by 16,000 KRW to finish at 426,000 KRW. Meanwhile, LS ELECTRIC saw a rise of 28,500 KRW, closing at 515,000 KRW.
Overall, the KOSPI 200 stocks presented a mixed picture, reflecting varying market dynamics and investor sentiments as the trading week came to a close.
