KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Results as Major Companies Record Gains and Losses

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a mix of gains and losses as several key companies reported fluctuating stock prices. Notable increases were observed in companies like APR and HyundaiAutoever, while firms such as SamsungElecMech and Hanchem saw declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, GCH Corp's stock increased by 160 points to reach 14,260, while LOTTE experienced a rise of 200 points, closing at 30,950. LotteChilsung saw a significant gain of 900, ending at 117,900, and COSMOCHEM rose by 270 to 15,400. Hanmi Science's stock increased by 450 points to 38,400, contrasting with the decline of SamsungElecMech, which dropped by 23,000 to 434,000.

KEPCO and DWS both saw declines, with KEPCO down by 2,100 to 43,900 and DWS decreasing by 200 to 26,250. S-1's stock fell by 300 points to 87,200, while SamsungSecu rose by 3,100 to 97,600. Hanchem and SAMSUNG C and T both reported losses, with their stocks falling to 273,000 and 269,000, respectively.

PARADISE, LOTTE WELLFOOD, and KT and G saw gains, with their stock prices increasing to 17,830, 116,200, and 158,000, respectively. In contrast, Doosan Enerbility and PanOcean experienced declines, with stock prices falling to 98,100 and 4,900, respectively. CheilWorldwide's stock remained unchanged at 19,830.

LG Display and POONGSAN faced decreases, closing at 11,500 and 91,700, respectively. In contrast, APR had a significant gain, rising by 17,000 to 327,000. HANWHA SYSTEMS and HANILCMT also recorded declines, ending at 124,100 and 16,530, respectively.

BGF Retail and HyundaiAutoever reported notable gains, with their stock prices closing at 130,300 and 394,000, respectively. SKBS and SKCHEM saw increases, ending at 43,200 and 55,000, respectively. HYOSUNG TNC and HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED both experienced gains, closing at 401,500 and 226,000, respectively.

ORION and KakaoBank recorded increases, with their stocks closing at 134,500 and 24,650, respectively. HITEJINRO also saw a rise, ending at 16,730. The mixed results reflect the dynamic nature of the stock market as companies continue to navigate various economic factors.
