KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Performance in Closing Prices

Seoul: Wednesday's KOSPI 200 stocks showed varied movements on the Korea Stock Exchange, with several companies seeing gains while others experienced declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, significant increases were recorded by HDKSOE, which rose by 23,500 KRW to close at 379,500 KRW, and Hanwha Aerospace, which saw a rise of 27,000 KRW, closing at 878,000 KRW. Korea Zinc also noted a considerable increase, closing at 795,000 KRW, up by 20,000 KRW.

Other notable gainers included LG Innotek, which increased by 6,500 KRW to end at 169,400 KRW, and HD Hyundai Mipo, which closed at 189,900 KRW, up by 4,000 KRW. Mobis and SKC showed positive performances, with Mobis rising by 3,500 KRW to 299,000 KRW, and SKC increasing by 1,900 KRW to reach 100,400 KRW. LS Electric and S-Oil also saw their share prices rise, closing at 307,500 KRW and 61,500 KRW, respectively.

In contrast, some companies recorded declines. YoungoneHoldings decreased by 1,200 KRW, closing at 127,200 KRW, while OCI Holdings fell by 900 KRW to 101,200 KRW. Hyundai Elevator experienced a drop of 3,500 KRW, ending at 83,200 KRW. Other declines were seen in Coway, which decreased by 1,200 KRW to 105,700 KRW, and POSCO DX, which fell by 400 KRW to 24,550 KRW.

Several stocks remained stable, with no change in their closing prices. Kumho Petrochem and Samsung SDS both saw no movement, closing at 108,000 KRW and 152,000 KRW, respectively. Similarly, IBK maintained its price at 19,490 KRW. The market trends reflected varied investor sentiment and performance across different sectors on the Korea Stock Exchange.
