Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a day of varied stock movements, with several companies experiencing notable changes in their closing prices. According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable gainers included NCsoft, with a closing price of 232,500 KRW after a 9,000 KRW increase, and KorZinc, which rose by 124,000 KRW to finish at 1,143,000 KRW. On the other hand, some companies faced declines in their stock prices. ShinhanGroup experienced a drop of 1,600 KRW, closing at 53,500 KRW, while Samsung Life saw a decrease of 1,100 KRW, ending at 107,900 KRW. The performance was mixed across different sectors, with companies like Mobis and S-1 experiencing declines of 5 00 KRW and 400 KRW, closing at 245,500 KRW and 61,800 KRW, respectively. Meanwhile, IBK and KT recorded gains, closing at 15,090 KRW and 48,850 KRW, with increases of 180 KRW and 1,250 KRW. Overall, the day's trading highlighted the fluctuating nature of the market, with both significant gains and losses recorded among the KOSPI 200 listed companies. The variations in stock prices reflect the dynamic economic environment and the different challenges and opportunities faced by individual companies.
