Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange showed mixed movements in their closing prices on Tuesday. Several stocks experienced declines, while a few saw increases in their values.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SeAH Steel Holdings saw a decrease of 8,400 KRW, closing at 99,600 KRW. Daewoong also experienced a downturn, closing at 17,350 KRW with a decrease of 760 KRW. On the other hand, MiwonComcl saw an upward movement, increasing by 900 KRW to end at 130,300 KRW.
Significant declines were observed in companies like KCC, whose stock fell by 11,000 KRW to close at 454,500 KRW, and HyundaiMtr, which dropped 18,000 KRW to 435,000 KRW. Meanwhile, SamyangFood experienced a notable rise, with its price climbing 64,000 KRW to reach 1,334,000 KRW.
Other notable changes included an increase for LS, which went up by 20,000 KRW to 343,500 KRW, while HD Hyundai Heavy Industries saw a significant decrease of 20,500 KRW, closing at 489,500 KRW. Hyundai M and F INS rose by 4,350 KRW to 49,700 KRW.
Companies such as Samsung SDS and Korea Aerospace witnessed declines, with Samsung SDS falling 15,000 KRW to 228,500 KRW, and Korea Aerospace dropping 6,400 KRW to 140,000 KRW. SamsungF and MIns, however, saw an increase, rising by 11,000 KRW to close at 626,000 KRW.
