Seoul: Monday's closing prices of KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange showed a variety of movements, with several companies experiencing decreases, while others showed gains. The list reflects the latest changes in the market, impacting both investors and businesses alike.
According to Yonhap News Agency, notable declines were observed in companies such as HyundaiMtr, which saw a drop of 17,500 KRW, closing at 492,500 KRW. Similarly, SamsungSecu decreased by 2,900 KRW to close at 83,200 KRW. Other significant declines included LG Corp., falling by 3,700 KRW to 89,600 KRW, and Shinsegae, which decreased by 12,500 KRW to reach 277,500 KRW.
Conversely, some companies recorded gains. TaekwangInd showed a notable increase of 17,000 KRW, closing at 828,000 KRW. POSCO FUTURE M also reported an upward movement, climbing 14,500 KRW to finish at 228,500 KRW. Additionally, KIWOOM experienced a rise of 15,000 KRW, reaching a closing price of 358,500 KRW.
Other stocks such as POSCO INTERNATIONAL and Daewoong experienced modest increases, with POSCO INTERNATIONAL closing at 63,600 KRW, up by 300 KRW, and Daewoong rising by 250 KRW to close at 23,150 KRW. In contrast, KEPCO and KUMHOTIRE reported decreases, closing at 60,400 KRW and 6,030 KRW, down by 800 KRW and 130 KRW respectively.
