Seoul:Wednesday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange saw varied movements in the closing prices of KOSPI 200 stocks. Several companies experienced gains, while others saw declines or no change in their stock prices.
According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Corp. closed at 99,800 KRW, marking an increase of 1,200 KRW. Similarly, Hyundai Motor's stock price rose significantly by 5,500 KRW, closing at 296,000 KRW. Samyang Food witnessed a substantial rise of 59,000 KRW, reaching 1,192,000 KRW by the end of trading.
On the downside, SeAH Steel Holdings experienced a decline of 1,000 KRW, closing at 94,700 KRW, while Nongshim's stock decreased by 3,500 KRW to finish at 389,500 KRW. Additionally, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries saw a decrease of 6,000 KRW, closing at 285,500 KRW.
Other notable performances included Samsung Electronics, which saw a 20,000 KRW increase to settle at 242,000 KRW, and Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., which rose by 26,000 KRW, closing at 534,000 KRW. POSCO Holdings also experienced a rise, closing at 282,000 KRW with a gain of 6,000 KRW.
