Seoul: Tuesday witnessed varied closing prices for KOSPI 200 stocks on the main Korea Stock Exchange. Hankook Tire and Technology saw a decline, closing at 583,000 KRW, down by 200 KRW. JB Financial Group also experienced a downturn, ending at 25,650 KRW, a decrease of 400 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, TKG Huchems showed a positive movement, closing at 18,940 KRW, up by 120 KRW. iM Financial Group also increased, finishing at 15,550 KRW, up by 220 KRW. HanmiPharm saw a significant rise of 1,000 KRW, closing at 452,000 KRW, alongside Meritz Financial, which rose by 1,200 KRW to close at 113,100 KRW.
Meanwhile, KOLMAR KOREA remained stable at 62,100 KRW. Emart experienced a notable decline, closing at 81,300 KRW, down by 1,100 KRW. BNK Financial Group and SD Biosensor also faced declines, ending at 15,870 KRW and 8,900 KRW, respectively.
SamyangFood faced a significant drop, closing at 1,231,000 KRW, down by 35,000 KRW, and CJ CheilJedang ended at 208,000 KRW, a decrease of 1,500 KRW. POSCO INTERNATIONAL and POSCO FUTURE M also saw declines, closing at 49,600 KRW and 187,000 KRW, respectively.
TaekwangInd and LG Corp. faced downward trends, closing at 762,000 KRW and 80,700 KRW, respectively. Hyundai Steel, LOTTE Fine Chem, and KAL also ended the day lower.
HS Hyosung Advanced and Hyosung Heavy experienced significant declines, closing at 181,600 KRW and 1,781,000 KRW, respectively. LG Energy Solution saw a decrease of 11,500 KRW, finishing at 368,500 KRW.
HyundaiAutoever was among the few gainers, rising sharply by 20,000 KRW to close at 332,000 KRW. Orion also saw a minor increase, ending at 105,700 KRW. However, BGF Retail and SKCHEM experienced declines, closing at 104,800 KRW and 65,500 KRW, respectively.
Overall, the KOSPI 200 showcased a range of movements with several stocks experiencing declines, while a few managed to close on a positive note.
