Seoul: The KOSPI 200, a stock market index of 200 major companies listed on the Korea Exchange, showed varied performances in the latest closing prices, reflecting the ongoing fluctuations in the financial markets. Several key players recorded significant changes in their stock values.
According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Innotek saw a notable drop in its stock price, closing at 303,000, down by 10,000. Similarly, Korea Zinc experienced a decrease, with shares closing at 1,546,000, a decline of 47,000. Another major company, Hanwha Aerospace, recorded a decrease of 31,000, bringing its closing price to 1,369,000.
On the other hand, some companies experienced positive movements. Korea Aerospace's stock price increased by 3,000, closing at 188,000. Lotte Shopping also saw a rise, with its shares closing at 114,100, up by 2,800. Additionally, Hanwha Ocean reported an increase of 1,000, bringing their closing price to 125,700.
The report also highlighted that SK hynix faced a significant decline, closing at 933,000, down by 62,000. Meanwhile, S-1 showed a positive change, closing at 87,500, up by 600. The mixed outcomes in the KOSPI 200 listings underscore the varying market conditions affecting different sectors and companies.
