Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a day of mixed movements, with some companies experiencing notable gains and others facing declines. Among the top performers, LG Energy Solution recorded an increase of 6,000, closing at 377,500. Meanwhile, ISUPETASYS saw a decrease of 1,000, settling at 114,600.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several other companies experienced gains, including ECOPRO MAT, which rose by 7,600 to close at 70,800, and SamsungElecMech with an increase of 3,000, ending the day at 404,500. Hanmi Science also saw a rise of 1,050, closing at 39,400.

On the other hand, DOOSAN faced a significant drop of 23,000, closing at 1,050,000, while HD Hyundai Heavy Industries fell by 5,000, settling at 554,000. Samsung Electronics also experienced a decrease, dropping 3,400 to end at 188,200.

Meanwhile, companies like CJ Logistics saw notable gains, with a rise of 5,200, closing at 119,400, and Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. increasing by 18,000 to close at 410,500. On the contrary, SK hynix experienced a substantial decline of 17,000, ending the day at 924,000.

Overall, the trading session reflected a varied performance across the KOSPI 200, with companies such as GS Retail, Daesang, and HITEJINRO experiencing declines, whereas firms like DL, Yuhan, and SLCORP recorded gains.
