Seoul: The latest closing prices for stocks in the KOSPI 200 index on the Korea Stock Exchange reveal notable movements, with some stocks experiencing gains while others faced declines. Market observers have been closely monitoring these changes to assess the overall market sentiment.
According to Yonhap News Agency, among the gainers, Hanwha Aerospace surged by 10,000 KRW, closing at 1,022,000 KRW. SK Square also registered a significant increase, climbing by 16,000 KRW to reach 432,000 KRW. In addition, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries saw a substantial rise, ending at 550,000 KRW, up by 37,000 KRW.
On the downside, Hyosung Heavy experienced a notable decrease, dropping by 68,000 KRW to close at 1,845,000 KRW. Samsung Epis Holding fell by 15,000 KRW, ending at 690,000 KRW. Mobis also declined, with a decrease of 6,000 KRW, closing at 366,000 KRW.
Other stocks such as LG Corp. and LS showed positive momentum, with LG Corp. increasing by 2,800 KRW to 84,300 KRW and LS advancing by 5,000 KRW to 216,500 KRW. Meanwhile, KCC and Shinsegae recorded losses, with KCC down by 2,000 KRW to 398,000 KRW and Shinsegae declining by 2,000 KRW to 239,000 KRW.
