Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced varied movements in stock prices during Tuesday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange. Several companies saw significant changes in their closing prices, while others remained steady.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanssem's stock closed at 49,250 KRW, marking a decrease of 250 KRW. F and F experienced a notable drop, closing at 75,500 KRW, down by 2,700 KRW. BNK Financial Group's shares fell by 90 KRW, ending at 16,140 KRW. Mobis maintained its position with no change, closing at 363,000 KRW.
Among the gainers, Hanwha Aerospace's stock increased by 14,000 KRW, closing at 900,000 KRW. S-1 saw a modest rise, closing at 78,200 KRW, an increase of 500 KRW. POSCO DX experienced a significant uplift, with its stock closing at 29,750 KRW, up by 3,050 KRW. Other notable gainers included Hanwha Solutions, HDKSOE, and OCI Holdings.
Conversely, several stocks faced declines, including HyundaiMtr, which dropped by 2,000 KRW to close at 287,000 KRW. KCC and SKBP also saw decreases, with KCC falling by 3,000 KRW and SKBP by 500 KRW. SamsungElecMech's stock closed at 251,500 KRW, down by 3,000 KRW. LG Innotek and Korea Zinc experienced significant drops as well.
