Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a varied session with a mix of gains and losses across different companies. Investors observed notable shifts in several stocks, reflecting dynamic market conditions.
According to Yonhap News Agency, among the notable gainers were SK, which rose by 11,000 to close at 425,000, and LS ELECTRIC, which surged 11,500 to end the day at 273,000. Another significant increase was seen in GS, which climbed 5,300 to finish at 82,100. L and F also saw an upward movement, closing at 209,000, up by 4,000.
In contrast, some companies experienced declines. Korea Zinc saw a significant drop of 23,000, ending at 1,604,000. KIH fell by 9,500, closing at 249,000, while HanmiPharm decreased by 8,500, finishing the session at 483,000. Other declines included SamsungE and A, which went down by 2,000 to 54,300, and Daewoong Pharm, which dropped by 2,300 to close at 149,600.
Several stocks remained unchanged. Dongsuh and Samsung Life both closed without any movement, maintaining their positions at 26,550 and 252,000, respectively. The session reflected a balanced market with both upward and downward trends across various sectors.
