Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed mixed performances as stocks closed on Monday at the main Korea Stock Exchange. Key players in the index showed varying trends, with several companies experiencing notable gains and losses.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Misto Holdings closed at 44,200 KRW, down by 250 KRW, while SK Innovation saw an increase, closing at 106,200 KRW, up by 800 KRW. AMOREPACIFIC faced a downturn, closing at 119,700 KRW, down by 1,700 KRW. Meanwhile, FOOSUNG recorded a slight rise, closing at 7,530 KRW, up by 100 KRW.
Significant movements were observed with HYUNDAIGLOVIS, which increased by 16,000 KRW, closing at 273,000 KRW. Hanwha Engine also marked an upward trend, closing at 55,100 KRW, up by 2,100 KRW, while HANWHA LIFE saw a modest increase, closing at 3,230 KRW, up by 5 KRW. Conversely, SamsungF and MIns faced a significant decline, closing at 480,500 KRW, down by 6,000 KRW.
Other notable changes included SK hynix, which rose by 8,000 KRW to close at 764,000 KRW, and HyundaiEng and Const, closing at 107,900 KRW, up by 3,600 KRW. POSCO Holdings experienced a substantial gain, closing at 347,500 KRW, up by 16,000 KRW, whereas SamyangFood dropped by 9,000 KRW, closing at 1,186,000 KRW.
Overall, the trading session reflected a diverse set of performances across the KOSPI 200 stocks, with some companies capitalizing on gains while others faced losses.
