KOSPI 200 Stock Market Shows Mixed Trends with Significant Movements

Seoul: A variety of stock movements were observed in the KOSPI 200 index as trading concluded on Thursday at the Korea Stock Exchange.

According to Yonhap News Agency, numerous companies experienced notable fluctuations in their stock prices, marking a day of diverse trading outcomes.

Among the gainers, Yuhan saw the most substantial increase, with its stock rising by KRW 23,100 to close at KRW 135,800. GC Corp also experienced a significant uptick, climbing KRW 12,100 to reach KRW 142,800. SamsungF and MIns and LG Energy Solution posted gains of KRW 7,500 and KRW 6,000, closing at KRW 477,500 and KRW 317,000 respectively. Other rising stocks included LotteChilsung, which increased by KRW 2,800 to finish at KRW 132,500, and HyundaiMtr, up KRW 2,500 to end at KRW 210,000.

Conversely, several stocks faced declines, with SK hynix dropping KRW 26,500 to close at KRW 269,500, marking the most significant loss of the session. LS also saw a decrease, falling by KRW 3,100 to KRW 182,900, while HYOSUNG HEAVY dropped KRW 8,000 to finish at KRW 1,058,000. HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES and SKC experienced declines of KRW 1,000 and KRW 1,800, closing at KRW 400,500 and KRW 99,300, respectively.

Other stocks exhibited minor changes, including GS E and C, which remained unchanged at KRW 20,550. The market displayed a blend of upward and downward trends, reflecting a dynamic trading environment for investors on this particular day.
