Seoul: The Tuesday closing prices for KOSPI 200 stocks, as traded on the main Korea Stock Exchange, demonstrated a mix of gains and losses across various sectors. Notable changes were observed in the performance of stocks such as SK Telecom, Hyundai Elevator, and Samsung SDS.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SK Telecom experienced a rise in its closing price to 62,200 KRW, marking an increase of 3,000 KRW. Similarly, Hyundai Elevator's stock price increased by 2,200 KRW, closing at 92,600 KRW. Meanwhile, Samsung SDS saw a decline, with its price dropping by 4,100 KRW, closing at 179,800 KRW.

Korea Aerospace also saw a slight increase in its stock price, now at 165,700 KRW with a 200 KRW rise. Kumho Tire's price went up by 30 KRW, closing at 6,110 KRW. On the other hand, Hankuk Carbon's stock experienced a decrease of 300 KRW, closing at 36,300 KRW.

Samsung Securities and Hanall Biopharma faced declines, with Samsung Securities dropping by 700 KRW to close at 82,800 KRW, and Hanall Biopharma decreasing by 1,400 KRW to end at 49,500 KRW. Meanwhile, Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance saw a substantial increase of 20,500 KRW, finishing at 501,000 KRW.

Other significant movements included SK hynix, which decreased by 21,000 KRW to close at 743,000 KRW, and POSCO Holdings, which rose by 10,000 KRW to close at 357,500 KRW. Hyundai Motor experienced a reduction of 1,000 KRW, closing at 479,000 KRW, while POSCO Future M increased by 8,000 KRW, ending at 205,000 KRW.

Additional stocks such as NHIS, ISU Specialty Chemical, and Taekwang Industrial saw increases, with NHIS rising by 400 KRW to 22,900 KRW, ISU Specialty Chemical up by 5,300 KRW to 83,500 KRW, and Taekwang Industrial up by 15,000 KRW to close at 755,000 KRW. Conversely, Samsung Electronics faced a decrease of 4,100 KRW, closing at 145,200 KRW.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 witnessed varied performances, reflecting the dynamic nature of the stock market on Tuesday.
