Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance in its latest trading session, with notable gains in the aerospace and insurance sectors. Among the key movers, Hanwha Aerospace saw a substantial increase, closing at 970,000 with a rise of 25,000, while Samsung F and M Insurance climbed to 444,500, marking an increase of 8,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other sectors also experienced significant activity. HD KSOE recorded a gain of 17,000, closing at 367,500, and Samsung SDS saw a remarkable rise of 29,700, ending at 166,900. Meanwhile, Mobis advanced by 3,500 to reach 285,500, and Korea Aerospace increased by 1,100, finishing at 98,800.

In contrast, several companies faced declines. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. dropped by 3,200 to 168,900, SKC fell by 1,500 to 90,400, and Kumho Petrochem decreased by 2,000 to 115,100. Additionally, LG Innotek experienced a decline of 900, closing at 143,400.

Despite some downturns, the trading session also saw positive performances from companies such as DN Automotive, which rose by 950 to 22,550, and S-1, which increased by 2,100 to 71,300. Hyundai Elevator and Samsung Securities also ended on a high note, with gains of 2,000 and 2,500, respectively.

Overall, the KOSPI 200's latest session reflected a diverse range of outcomes, with significant gains in specific sectors balancing the declines observed in others. The varied performance underscores the dynamic nature of the market, influenced by numerous factors impacting different industries.
