KOSPI 200 Sees Varied Movements with Significant Declines in Key Stocks

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed mixed performances today, with notable declines in several key stocks. Among the stocks experiencing a downturn, HD Hyundai saw a significant decrease of 4,200, closing at 132,400. Likewise, Samsung Biologics also faced a substantial drop, closing down 5,000 at 1,010,000. Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Electric reported an increase of 14,000, finishing at 470,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable declines included Kolmar Korea, which fell by 1,600 to close at 88,000, and Miwon SC, which decreased by 7,000, ending at 151,900. Youngone Holdings also experienced a drop, closing down 3,900 at 132,800. On the positive side, Hanwha Systems saw an increase of 2,000, closing at 66,200, and DL E and C went up by 1,000, finishing at 52,800.

Additionally, SK Square enjoyed a rise of 3,500, closing at 153,400, while HDHMS increased by 4,000, finishing at 205,500. Meanwhile, iM Financial Group declined by 110, closing at 11,710, and emart fell by 600, ending at 81,500. The market saw some stability with stocks like DoubleUGames and Netmarble maintaining their previous closing prices.

Overall, the trading day highlighted a mix of increases and decreases across the board, reflecting varied investor sentiment and market conditions.
