KOSPI 200 Sees Varied Movements with HD Hyundai and Doosan Leading Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a series of shifts as several companies experienced significant changes in their stock prices. Notably, HD Hyundai and Doosan emerged as the standout performers with substantial gains, while others such as HyundaiAutoever and SKSQUARE saw notable declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, HD Hyundai reported an impressive increase, with its stock price climbing by 14,000 to close at 259,500. Doosan also marked a significant rise, with its share price surging by 25,000 to reach 858,000. These gains contributed positively to the overall index.

On the other hand, HyundaiAutoever experienced a sharp decline, with its stock price falling by 22,000 to settle at 466,500. SKSQUARE also faced a decrease, with its shares dropping by 8,500, closing at 427,000. These declines counterbalanced some of the gains seen in other sectors.

In the pharmaceutical and technology sectors, DAEWOONG PHARM and SAMSUNG LIFE recorded notable increases. DAEWOONG PHARM's stock rose by 4,200, closing at 164,900, and SAMSUNG LIFE saw a rise of 8,200, ending at 175,200. Meanwhile, SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS saw a minor decline, with its shares dropping by 1,000 to close at 1,920,000.

Other companies like emart, KOLMAR KOREA, and HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED also experienced positive movements, contributing to the gains in the KOSPI 200 index. Emart's stock increased by 1,800, closing at 84,000, while KOLMAR KOREA saw an 800 rise, ending at 64,900. HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED recorded a 500 increase, closing at 207,000.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 displayed a mix of gains and losses, with significant contributions from HD Hyundai and Doosan countered by declines in companies like HyundaiAutoever and SKSQUARE. The varied movements in stock prices highlight the dynamic nature of the market.
