Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a range of movements with several companies reporting gains while others experienced losses in their closing prices. Among the notable gainers, HDKSOE marked a significant increase in its stock price, closing up by 26,000 to 473,000. Meanwhile, SamsungElecMech recorded an increase of 6,500, closing at 228,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies that observed upward trends included HYOSUNG HEAVY, which rose by 17,000 to a closing price of 1,920,000, and LIG Nex1, which saw a 22,000 increase, reaching 507,000. YoungoneHoldings also reported a considerable rise of 4,100, closing at 143,000.

Conversely, some companies experienced declines in their stock prices. KRAFTON saw a decrease of 2,000, ending at 285,000, while Doosan Robotics fell by 600, closing at 72,500. Furthermore, SamsungE and A recorded a decline of 900, closing at 28,400.

Other companies with notable performances included LG Energy Solution, which increased by 3,000 to 495,000, and SAMSUNG C and T, rising by 6,500 to 215,500. In contrast, KT and G decreased by 600, closing at 135,800, and SAMSUNG LIFE also saw a 600 drop, closing at 162,000.
