Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a range of movements among its listed companies, with notable performances from several major corporations. LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp saw its stock price rise to 71,200, marking an increase of 1,300. HMM also experienced a gain, closing at 20,050, up by 250. HYUNDAI WIA's shares rose by 900, reaching 56,300, while KumhoPetrochem increased significantly by 3,800 to reach 115,700.

According to Yonhap News Agency, YoungoneHoldings experienced a substantial rise, closing at 156,900, up by 20,300. Mobis also saw a significant increase, with its stock price climbing 6,500 to 294,500. On the other hand, APR faced a decrease, dropping by 27,500 to 234,000. HDC HOLDINGS' stock fell by 930, closing at 17,250, and DWS experienced a slight decline, down by 150 to 27,900.

HANWHA AEROSPACE reported a strong performance, with its shares rising by 20,000 to 970,000. Hanchem increased by 2,000 to 222,500, and SKTelecom's stock went up by 800, closing at 53,500. SamsungSecu saw a growth of 2,400, reaching 75,800. KEPCO's stock increased by 2,600, closing at 46,100, while SK rose by 16,500 to 254,000.

Other companies such as Hyundai Elevator and KumhoTire also reported gains, with their stock prices increasing by 500 to 72,400 and by 240 to 4,975, respectively. Meanwhile, SamsungE and A's shares inched up by 500, closing at 26,350, and SAMSUNG LIFE saw a rise of 6,000 to 156,000.

In contrast, SAMSUNG SDS and KOREA AEROSPACE experienced declines, with their stock prices falling by 4,800 to 173,000 and by 1,300 to 98,700, respectively. HankukCarbon's shares decreased by 600, closing at 32,550, and POSCO DX fell by 1,350 to 26,400.

Despite the mixed results, companies like LOTTE SHOPPING and CheilWorldwide reported positive movements. LOTTE SHOPPING's stock increased by 3,300 to 67,400, while CheilWorldwide's shares went up by 900, closing at 21,200. KIWOOM and LOTTE WELLFOOD also saw significant increases, with their stock prices rising by 8,500 to 291,000 and by 8,500 to 125,300, respectively.
