KOSPI 200 Sees Significant Gains with SamsungF and MIns Leading the Surge.

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced notable gains during Tuesday's trading session on the main Korea Stock Exchange, with several key stocks closing at higher prices. Among the top performers, SamsungF and MIns saw a substantial increase, closing up 37,500 KRW at 435,000 KRW. Other major gainers included LIG Nex1, which rose by 6,000 KRW to close at 203,500 KRW, and GC Corp, which increased by 6,600 KRW, closing at 154,300 KRW. According to Yonhap News Agency, the overall positive trend was driven by significant gains in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, technology, and heavy industries. LS reported a noteworthy rise of 5,300 KRW, closing at 95,100 KRW. LG Energy Solution also performed well, ending the session at 397,000 KRW, up by 5,500 KRW. The heavy industries sector saw HD Hyundai Heavy Industries closing at 213,000 KRW, marking an increase of 2,000 KRW. The session also highlighted the performance of companies like HYUNDAI ROTEM, which saw a rise of 3,400 KRW to close at 53,600 KRW. DAEWOONG PHARM a nd KIH both recorded gains of 4,300 KRW, closing at 128,500 KRW and 80,800 KRW respectively. The technology sector was bolstered by SamsungElecMech, which increased by 2,100 KRW to 109,300 KRW, and Celltrion, which closed up 2,300 KRW at 186,900 KRW. Despite the overall positive trend, some stocks experienced declines. Notably, Samsung SDS fell by 10,600 KRW, closing at 138,000 KRW, and POSCO Holdings decreased by 5,000 KRW to 275,500 KRW. HyundaiMtr also saw a reduction, ending the day at 214,500 KRW, down by 1,500 KRW. The trading session reflected a strong performance across various sectors, with a majority of stocks showing upward movement, contributing to the overall growth of the KOSPI 200 index.
