Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a notable decline with the majority of stocks closing lower. Leading the losses were KRAFTON and HANJINKAL, which saw substantial decreases in their share prices. KRAFTON's stock fell by 15,500 to close at 366,500, while HANJINKAL dropped 14,600 to end at 140,400.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the trading session also saw major losses for companies such as MIWON SC, which decreased by 14,100 to close at 152,800, and HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC, which dropped 4,000, ending at 430,000. In contrast, a handful of companies experienced gains, with S-Oil rising by 4,500 to 63,700 and kakaopay increasing by 3,700 to close at 60,400.

Other notable decliners included HYBE, which fell by 6,000 to 296,000, and BGF Retail, which dropped 5,200 to close at 113,800. Meanwhile, the financial sector saw mixed results; KBFinancialGroup rose slightly by 100 to 106,000, whereas WooriFinancialGroup remained unchanged at 20,550.

Some companies that managed to post gains were HDHMS, which rose by 2,700 to close at 199,800, and Hanwha Systems, which increased by 1,400 to 54,400. The session highlighted a challenging day for many stocks, with a few standout performers amid widespread declines.
