Seoul: The recent closing prices for the KOSPI 200 index indicate a predominantly downward movement, with most companies experiencing reductions in their stock prices. Among the notable declines, HD Hyundai Electric and SK Square were both significantly impacted, seeing their stock prices fall by 40,000 and 43,500 respectively. Samsung Biologics also recorded a significant decrease with a drop of 26,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies such as HanmiPharm, HyundaiAutoever, and Hanwha Systems experienced notable declines in their stock prices, with reductions of 9,000, 17,000, and 6,600 respectively. Meanwhile, KRAFTON and COSMAX were among the few companies that registered an increase in their stock prices, with KRAFTON rising by 4,500 and COSMAX by 4,400.
HD Hyundai and Meritz Financial witnessed considerable drops of 7,000 and 2,500 respectively. In the financial sector, HanaFinancial Group and BNK Financial Group experienced declines of 600 and 360. Additionally, Netmarble and KakaoBank saw their stock prices decrease by 550 and 450 respectively. Despite the overall downward trend, Orion and HDHMS managed to close on a positive note with stock price increases of 1,000 and 1,300 respectively.
