Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a series of notable changes at the close, with several companies experiencing significant gains. Among the top performers, Samsung Life saw an impressive increase, closing at 297,000, up by 21,000. Other companies such as SK and NAVER also posted substantial gains with SK rising by 17,000 to close at 568,000, and NAVER climbing by 11,500 to reach 219,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, DB HiTek and HANALL BIOPHARMA were among the companies enjoying a rise in their stock prices, with DB HiTek closing at 96,900, up 3,300, and HANALL BIOPHARMA at 62,600, up 3,400. Additionally, GC Biopharma Corp. showed a positive trend, ending the session with an increase of 4,400 to close at 125,400.

Conversely, some companies experienced declines. Asia Holdings and KTandG saw their stocks decrease, with Asia Holdings down by 3,400 to 179,900 and KTandG dropping 3,600 to 171,900. Similarly, LIG Defense and Aerospace faced a drop, losing 9,000 to close at 78,700.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 index displayed mixed performance, with several companies witnessing gains while others faced declines. The session highlighted the dynamic nature of the market, reflecting both opportunities and challenges for investors.
