Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a blend of gains and declines among major companies' closing prices. Companies such as iM Financial Group and Hanchem experienced notable decreases, with iM Financial Group closing at 13,990, down by 240, and Hanchem at 230,500, down by 3,500. On the other hand, SD Biosensor showed an upward movement, closing at 9,270, up by 160.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies witnessed declines, including KEPCO and SamsungSecu, which closed at 48,800 and 78,100, down by 1,000 and 1,200, respectively. SK Innovation also faced a significant drop, closing at 112,300, down by 4,300. Companies like POONGSAN and SKC also reported decreases, closing at 101,300 and 113,400, down by 2,000 and 500, respectively.
Meanwhile, a few companies showed positive trends. KBFinancialGroup saw an increase, closing at 124,800, up by 300. AMOREPACIFIC and LOTTE WELLFOOD reported gains, closing at 121,800 and 122,300, up by 500 and 2,000, respectively. Notably, HYOSUNG TNC and Korea Zinc showed significant increases, with HYOSUNG TNC closing at 230,500, up by 11,000, and Korea Zinc at 1,536,000, up by 56,000.
Other companies like S-1 and SKBS also recorded positive performances, closing at 76,400 and 52,600, up by 1,100 and 300, respectively. The fluctuations in closing prices highlight the mixed trends in the KOSPI 200 index.
