KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Results as Companies Experience Gains and Losses

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reported mixed results in its latest closing prices, with several companies experiencing both gains and declines. Prominent among the gainers was Samyang Food, which saw an increase of 5,000, bringing its share price to 1,556,000. POSCO International also experienced an uptick, closing at 48,500, an increase of 200.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies that showed positive movement included Samsung SDS, which rose by 400 to reach 146,300, and KEPCO KPS, which climbed 300 to close at 50,800. Celltrion's stock also increased by 300, ending at 171,500. LG H and H followed this trend with a rise of 1,500 to close at 293,500, while KIH saw a notable increase of 2,400, reaching 131,300.

On the downside, CJ CheilJedang witnessed a decline of 1,500, closing at 230,000. Hanwha Ocean experienced a significant drop of 5,500, closing at 117,700. Hyundai Glovis also saw a decrease, falling by 2,700 to end at 187,400. Amorepacific's stock fell by 800, closing at 117,300.

Other changes included Korea Aerospace, which decreased by 500 to close at 96,500, and Meritz Financial, which dropped by 1,200 to close at 124,600. Meanwhile, GS experienced a slight decline of 100, ending at 44,750, and Kia Corp. saw a reduction of 200, closing at 107,000.
