Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showed a mixed performance with notable movements in individual stocks. Among the significant gainers, NCsoft closed at 214,500, marking an increase of 10,000, while Hyundai Rotem saw a rise of 7,500 to finish at 233,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several other companies also experienced upward movements in their stock prices. Kakao increased by 2,400 to 53,600, and Hanwha Ocean rose by 4,600, closing at 126,700. NAVER ended the trading day at 222,500, up by 2,500. SANIL ELECTRIC and DAEWOONG PHARM also saw gains of 3,300 and 3,800, respectively.

Conversely, some stocks recorded declines. TKG Huchems decreased by 610, closing at 17,420, and KIH fell by 500 to 230,000. HYUNDAIDEPTST and ShinhanGroup also saw drops, with their prices falling by 2,000 and 1,100, respectively. Meanwhile, HYUNDAIGLOVIS and HanmiPharm were among the larger decliners, dropping by 3,000 and 3,000, respectively.

Additional movements included LGCHEM gaining 2,000 to close at 326,500, while GS and SK Innovation fell by 1,000 and 1,600, respectively. Hanwha Life and POONGSAN experienced increases, with their prices rising by 270 and 2,800, respectively. Other stocks such as emart and Youngone Corp also ended the day with gains, rising by 1,200 and 3,600, respectively.
