According to Yonhap News Agency, KRAFTON's stock surged by 15,000 to close at 259,000, marking one of the most significant increases of the day. POSCO Holdings also enjoyed a substantial rise, with its stock price climbing by 12,000 to settle at 300,500. These gains contributed positively to the overall market sentiment, reflecting investor confidence in these companies.
Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and DB Insurance also recorded notable increases. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries saw its stock rise by 14,000 to reach 448,000, while DB Insurance experienced a gain of 8,200, closing at 162,900. These upward movements were indicative of strong performances within their respective sectors.
On the downside, LS Electric faced a significant drop, with its stock price falling by 13,500 to close at 150,300. LG Innotek also experienced a decrease, with its stock price declining by 34,000 to settle at 424,000. These declines highlighted some of the challenges faced by companies in the market.
Other notable movements included Samsung C and T, which increased by 8,500 to reach 294,000, and Samsung Securities, which rose by 2,400 to close at 90,300. Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics experienced a decline of 1,500, closing at 207,000.
