Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a mixed performance today with several notable gains and losses among its listed companies. Kakao's stock price rose by 250 points to close at 34,250, while NC saw a significant drop of 9,000 points, closing at 234,500. KIWOOM experienced a substantial increase of 23,500 points, ending the day at 337,500, whereas Hanwha Ocean's price fell by 400 points to 105,600.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HANMISemi's stock price increased by 3,000 points, closing at 273,000. DWEC climbed 380 points to 19,860, while KEPCO KPS saw a minor rise of 100 points, ending at 45,250. On the downside, LG H and H decreased by 1,000 points to 224,000, and LGCHEM dropped by 12,000 points, closing at 285,500.
KEPCO E and C also experienced a decline, shedding 2,700 points to finish at 106,600. ShinhanGroup's stock price fell by 1,200 points, ending at 94,500, while SANIL ELECTRIC rose by 6,500 points, closing at 229,500. HANAFINANCIALGR saw a slight decrease of 200 points to 114,000, and Hanwha Life's stock increased by 30 points, closing at 4,690.
HD-Hyundai Marine Engine saw a decline of 600 points, ending at 60,000, while LGELECTRONICS fell by 1,500 points to 203,000. HYUNDAIDEPTST gained 6,400 points, closing at 195,500, and KIH increased by 9,500 points to 214,000. LIG Defense and Aerospace experienced a significant loss of 49,000 points, closing at 775,000.
L and F's stock price decreased by 5,900 points to 107,800, while HYUNDAI ROTEM fell by 12,500 points, ending at 183,000. Celltrion's stock price saw a modest increase of 400 points, closing at 173,100, and AMOREPACIFIC decreased by 300 points to 97,700. LG CNS experienced a drop of 1,000 points, closing at 78,300.
