Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a mixed performance as several key companies saw declines in their stock prices, while others recorded gains. Noteworthy shifts included significant declines in the biologics and technology sectors, impacting the overall market sentiment.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Youngone Corp's stock price fell by 5,500 to close at 85,200. Similarly, HanmiPharm saw a significant drop of 17,000, ending at 396,000. CSWIND's stock decreased by 1,550 to settle at 43,350, and BNK Financial Group's shares declined by 220, closing at 14,680.

Conversely, HANJINKAL recorded an increase, with its stock price rising by 300 to reach 118,200. Another notable increase was observed in HANWHA SYSTEMS, whose share price went up by 2,700 to 75,600, while HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC experienced a substantial gain of 43,000, closing at 782,000.

In the technology sector, HD HYUNDAI rose by 6,000 to 230,500, although KRAFTON saw a decline of 9,000, finishing at 235,000. Samsung Biologics also faced a substantial decrease, with its stock down by 60,000 to 1,549,000. Additionally, HD CE's shares fell by 3,500 to 138,500, while Netmarble's stock price decreased by 800, closing at 39,750.

Other significant movements included BGF Retail, which saw its stock price decrease by 5,000 to 145,500, and MIWON SC, whose shares dropped by 3,300 to 120,100. Meanwhile, SKCHEM's stock declined by 1,150, ending at 43,750. On the other hand, DoubleUGames posted a slight gain of 200, reaching 62,000.

The market also witnessed some stability, with HL MANDO remaining unchanged at 54,100, and HDHMS steady at 200,000. In contrast, SKSQUARE saw a notable increase, with its shares rising by 79,000 to 1,024,000, and ECOPRO MAT increased by 1,050, closing at 38,600.
