Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance as trading concluded, highlighted by significant gains and losses among leading companies.

According to Yonhap News Agency, DB Insurance recorded a substantial rise, closing at 143,300, up by 6,800. HyundaiAutoever also experienced a notable increase, climbing 43,000 to close at 484,000. HyundaiMtr followed suit with a gain of 35,500, finishing at 528,000. LS saw an upward trend, closing at 236,500, which marks an increase of 17,500. Meanwhile, HYOSUNG HEAVY experienced a rise of 28,000, reaching a closing price of 2,546,000.

On the other hand, some companies faced declines. Samsung Electronics saw a decrease of 1,700, ending the day at 160,700. POSCO Holdings experienced a significant drop of 14,000, closing at 364,000, while LG Energy Solution fell by 14,500, concluding at 416,500. Samsung SDI also witnessed a decrease, down 8,500 to 388,000. LS ELECTRIC saw a drop of 15,000, closing at 557,000.
