Seoul: Thursday witnessed a mixed performance for the KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange. Among the notable movements, Hanwha Aerospace experienced a significant increase, while several other companies faced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Aerospace saw a substantial rise in its stock price, closing at 707,000 KRW, marking an increase of 42,000 KRW. Other gainers included LS ELECTRIC and Mobis, which closed at 205,000 KRW and 256,000 KRW, respectively, with notable increases of 7,100 KRW and 8,000 KRW. HDKSOE and HyundaiMtr also registered gains, closing at 214,500 KRW and 201,000 KRW, respectively.
In contrast, KorZinc faced the most significant drop, closing at 955,000 KRW, a decrease of 110,000 KRW. LG Innotek and SamsungF and MIns also showed declines, closing at 159,700 KRW and 387,500 KRW, respectively. Other companies such as SAMSUNG SDI CO.,LTD. and LG Energy Solution also ended the day with decreases, closing at 204,000 KRW and 340,500 KRW, respectively.
Meanwhile, companies like HYOSUNG HEAVY and YoungoneHoldings posted gains, closing at 429,500 KRW and 93,600 KRW, respectively. GS Retail and HMM experienced slight movements, closing at 14,860 KRW and 20,600 KRW, respectively.
Overall, the KOSPI 200 displayed varied trends, with some companies experiencing gains while others faced declines in their stock prices.
