Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance in its latest trading session, with several companies witnessing fluctuations in their stock prices. Leading the gains was Samsung Biologics, which saw an increase of 10,000, closing at 1,406,000. Notable gains were also recorded by HYBE and BGF Retail, which rose by 9,500 and 3,900, closing at 213,500 and 119,500, respectively.
According to Yonhap News Agency, iM Financial Group and BNK Financial Group also experienced positive movements, with their stock prices increasing by 420 and 810, closing at 17,300 and 18,130, respectively. On the other hand, SK Innovation faced a decline of 3,900, closing at 94,100, while HD CE and HD Hyundai Electric experienced significant drops of 3,900 and 43,000, ending at 121,700 and 969,000, respectively.
The session also saw a decline in SKSQUARE and Hyundai Autoever, with their stock prices falling by 232,000 and 15,000, closing at 1,525,000 and 509,000, respectively. Among other companies, Doosan Bobcat and ECOPRO MAT reported decreases of 100 and 1,550, closing at 63,600 and 40,350, respectively.
In contrast, KakaoBank and KakaoPay showed varying results, with KakaoBank increasing by 1,150 to close at 22,050, while KakaoPay fell by 500, ending at 40,600. Additionally, Hanwha Systems saw a decrease of 2,900, closing at 74,100, and DL E and C experienced a drop of 2,600, closing at 64,200.
