Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a varied performance as several major stocks closed with mixed results. Notably, Samsung SDS saw a decline, closing at 151,400, down by 600 points. In contrast, Korea Aerospace witnessed an upward trend, rising by 1,500 to close at 90,900.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SK ie technology made significant gains, increasing by 3,000 to settle at 31,700 by the end of trading. On the other hand, CJ faced a substantial drop, closing at 144,500, a decrease of 16,100 points. Coway experienced a decline, closing at 104,800, down by 900 points, while Lotte Shopping rose by 200 to finish at 66,900.
Among other noteworthy movements, Kakao gained 900 points, closing at 64,400. Meanwhile, Samsung C and T recorded a rise, ending at 163,900, up by 2,500 points. NAVER showed a slight decrease, closing at 224,500, down by 500 points. Samsung Life saw an increase, closing at 128,500, a rise of 3,200 points.
Additional stocks showing movement included Doosan Enerbility, which fell by 1,000 to close at 65,500, and LG Display, which decreased by 1,410, ending at 11,880. POSCO DX recorded a gain, closing at 25,600, an increase of 1,050 points. Meanwhile, SamyangFood experienced a drop, closing at 1,380,000, down by 30,000 points.
