Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed results as various companies saw both gains and losses in their closing prices. Among the notable movements, KRAFTON's stock decreased by 1,000, closing at 234,500. Meanwhile, CHONGKUNDANG and Netmarble both saw an increase of 100, closing at 69,100 and 38,300 respectively.
According to Yonhap News Agency, COSMAX made significant gains, surging by 9,700 to settle at 178,000. HD HYUNDAI also performed well with a rise of 2,500, ending at 209,000. Conversely, HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC faced a decline of 16,000, closing at 929,000, while SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS matched this decrease, closing at 1,405,000.
HL MANDO's shares fell by 700, reaching a closing price of 49,700. On the upside, Doosan Bobcat increased by 600, finishing the day at 65,000. Other notable increases included HD CE rising by 4,900 to 123,700 and HYBE jumping by 10,000 to close at 215,000.
Several companies faced declines, including TaekwangInd, which dropped by 25,000 to 843,000, and HyundaiAutoever, which decreased by 10,500 to 494,500. Kakaopay and BGF Retail also saw declines, closing at 39,700 and 123,000 respectively.
Other companies such as SeAH Steel Holdings and ORION saw modest gains, with both increasing by 600, closing at 112,900 and 136,900, respectively. Meanwhile, LG Corp. rose by 100 to 101,200, and d'Alba Global increased by 2,500 to 218,000.
