Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a varied performance as stocks closed with a mix of ups and downs. Among the notable gainers were Hyundai Elevator, which increased by 1,900 to close at 55,100, and HDKSOE, which rose by 3,000 to reach 221,500. Meanwhile, KPIC saw an increase of 1,400, closing at 99,300.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several stocks experienced declines, including POSCO FUTURE M, which fell by 3,100 to 127,000, and SGBC, which decreased by 3,400, closing at 78,300. Nongshim also saw a decrease of 2,000, finishing the day at 348,000.
Other stocks that experienced gains include LotteChilsung, which rose by 1,700 to 104,400, and Ottogi, which closed up by 1,500 at 383,000. Hyundai M and F INS also marked an increase of 300, reaching 24,000 at closing.
Stocks like LG Corp. faced declines, dropping by 1,200 to 68,500, and CosmoAM and T, which went down by 1,400 to 48,900. Samsung SDI CO.,LTD. also saw a decrease, ending the day down by 500 at 210,500.
The mixed results reflect the ongoing fluctuations within the market, with several stocks experiencing both gains and declines.
