Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected varied performances, with significant fluctuations noted in several key stocks. Kogas saw a decline, closing at 32,300, down by 900. Meanwhile, KEPCO KPS experienced an increase, closing at 44,750 with an upward movement of 850.

According to Yonhap News Agency, DN AUTOMOTIVE reported a decrease, closing at 34,100, down by 1,300. In contrast, SK observed a notable gain, closing at 610,000, up by 14,000. Korea Zinc faced a downward trend, closing at 1,003,000, down by 31,000. Youngone Holdings registered an increase, closing at 188,000, up by 2,800.

Samsung Heavy Industries showed a decrease, closing at 20,950, down by 200. OCI Holdings, on the other hand, saw an increase, closing at 183,200, up by 2,700. HDKSOE experienced a downturn, closing at 327,500, down by 12,500.

Additional movements included HYOSUNG HEAVY, which closed at 2,770,000, up by 81,000, while LG Energy Solution decreased, closing at 313,500, down by 2,000. HtlShilla closed at 49,050, down by 2,450, and Hankuk Carbon ended at 23,250, down by 750.

Samsung Electric Mechanics showed an increase, closing at 1,493,000, up by 14,000. Hanwha Solutions also rose, closing at 30,800, up by 950, while Hanssem closed at 35,200, up by 900. Conversely, FandF saw a decrease, closing at 78,500, down by 1,700.

LG Innotek reported a decline, closing at 741,000, down by 22,000, while LS ELECTRIC experienced a gain, closing at 189,400, up by 5,900. Samsung Securities decreased, closing at 106,600, down by 5,100. HMM also faced a decline, closing at 19,320, down by 730.

Hyundai Wia and KEPCO both reported declines, closing at 59,400 and 35,200 respectively, with decreases of 1,200 and 1,550. HANJINKAL closed at 126,000, down by 10,100, while Kumho Petrochemical ended at 111,900, down by 600.

DWS showed an increase, closing at 20,100, up by 1,180. In contrast, Samsung Electronics Holding S closed at 368,500, down by 12,000. SKC registered an increase, closing at 91,900, up by 3,200.

MIRAE ASSET Securities closed at 40,250, down by 250. Samsung C and T experienced a decline, closing at 378,500, down by 16,500. Coway ended at 85,000, down by 6,700.

POSCO DX closed at 19,230, down by 10, while SK Telecom experienced an increase, closing at 86,700, up by 2,700. Hyundai Elevator closed at 68,200, down by 1,100. IBK ended at 20,500, down by 450, while LOTTE SHOPPING closed at 158,400, down by 1,200. Samsung E and A reported a decrease, closing at 42,050, down by 1,450.
