KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with HD Hyundai Leading Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index observed varied movements among its constituents, with HD Hyundai emerging as a significant gainer. The index showcased a range of price changes, reflecting a dynamic trading session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Doosan Bobcat saw its price ascend by 600, closing at 60,500. Netmarble recorded an increase of 1,100, reaching a closing price of 55,400. KRAFTON also saw a positive movement, rising by 500 to end at 263,500. HD Hyundai, however, stood out with a notable increase of 13,500, pushing its closing price to 216,500. MIWON SC added 2,400, ending the day at 139,900.

Conversely, Orion experienced a decline of 100, closing at 101,700. Hanwha Systems saw a drop of 1,800, resulting in a closing price of 52,700. SKBS also faced a downturn of 1,400, finishing at 56,100, while KakaoBank decreased by 650 to end at 21,750. HYBE experienced a significant drop of 12,500, closing at 319,500.

SK ie technology rose by 700, reaching 30,650, while kakaopay increased by 400, closing at 51,200. SKSQUARE saw a substantial gain of 10,000, ending at 270,000. ECOPRO MAT and ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL observed increases of 2,200 and 2,100, respectively.

In the financial sector, KB Financial Group's price surged by 3,700, closing at 125,300. Meritz Financial and BNK Financial Group reported gains of 3,200 and 500, respectively. Other notable movements included emart's increase of 2,500, closing at 73,700, and iM Financial Group's rise of 640, ending at 14,060.

While some companies faced declines, others, like HD Hyundai and SKSQUARE, contributed to the overall positive sentiment in the market, highlighting the fluctuating nature of the trading day.
